Today in my inbox was an email from 'Bangkok Nutrition Academy' <ouamun@truemail.co.th>
It was all in Thai, but it clearly was about weight loss. Lots of before/after pictures of Thai women. It also included this fantastic cartoon. Please explain it to me, if you're able.
It looks like men were fitter, taller, sexier, etc. a hundred years ago than they are today. I must be an extreme outlier.

1900 would signify the Eugenics movement maybe... a time when a perfect human form was desired...
ReplyDeleteAnd so it is still desired today, but if we don't watch out we will evolve in parallel with our nice domesticated pigs. I am still baffled at the choice of using this in the ad.
