You gotta, gotta! see this video - the Vice Guide to Liberia - if you EVER watch any on the web at all, you must see this video of an American team intervieweing ex-warlords in Liberia. Murder, rape, drugs, shit, piss, malaria, more drugs, and cannibalism. And that's with the UN there.Just everything about it is so depraved and horrible that I didn't know it was even possible. One ex-warlord, General Butt-Naked, converted to Christianity and was acquitted of his war crimes. (And they say religion poisons everything.) He moniker came from the fact that he and his men fought naked. They were also cannibals. Butt Naked is now an evangelist. And I believe he is sincere.
