the2008weblogawards has a very abundant list blog awards. I didn't care to vote for any blogs in most categories, such as Best Pet Blog or Best Canadian Blog, but I did vote in the Best Science Blog and Best Comic Strip (which doesn't have my favorite among the candidates).
I do feel like this is a giant round of the blogosphere patting itself on the shoulder, though. Much like the Oscar's etc.
