Hivestorm

Hivestorm (noun, verb):

A meta-brainstorm wherein the emphasis is on what the hive-mind can accomplish with higher probability than what any individual can produce. Differs from brainstorm in that the new ideas emerge from the recurrent bouncing off each other.

For example:

The results were produced in an epic hivestorm consisting of people from several research groups, who hivestormed until they all collapsed from climactic exhilaration.
