Laura Bush to write memoirs

All right, so if we can't wait for W. to write an autobiography, then we can look forward to Laura's instead.

The publisher

said in its announcement that the memoir would offer “an intimate account of Mrs. Bush’s life experiences.” Mrs. Bush said in the release that she would tell “the stories of the extraordinary events and people I’ve met in my life, particularly during my years in the White House.”

That could mean anything. A boring account of events we already know about, or perhaps a revealing collection of stories that her husband told her every night before they went to bed. Like the one about how Dick is such a dick for not letting George appear on SNL.
